Jonas Heating and Cooling is owned and operated by Robbin and Ed Kronk, long-time residents of El Dorado County. “My grandfather started the business in 1946, in Lake County,” says Robbin. “He began with a fuel distributing business. Later, my father Jim took over and created Jim Jonas, Inc. Eventually my brother Russ and his wife Tonya joined the Company and started a new division, Jonas Heating and Cooling & Jonas Energy Solutions. ”
Robbin and Ed moved to El Dorado County in 2001 and opened a branch office of Jonas Heating and Cooling. Jonas is a certified dealer for top brands such as American Standard, Coleman, AeroCool, Rinnai, Toyotomi and Mitsubishi Electric.
“We are not a one-trick pony,” says Ed Kronk. “We have a lot of products to offer. With us, customers have options.”
In addition to their full line of products, Jonas boasts superb customer service.
“We hope that if we take care of our customers they will come back,” said Robbin. “Eighty percent of our customers are referrals. We’ve made a place for ourselves in this community, and it’s because of our customer service.”
